Last night before going to sleep, a scene kept playing over and over in my mind: in this world, every family and every individual journeys from infancy to middle age, and finally to old age. Though the ups and downs of life vary with our environments, the fundamental melody remains the same. If we were to point a camera randomly at passersby on the street and dive deep into their lives for an interview, everyone would have their own unique life story. It’s a beautiful thought. Yet, in the end, we might find that only truly exquisite art, moving music, breakthrough technologies, and profound stories are left behind. Most of everything else will simply turn into dust and vanish with time.

The spark for last night's reflection came from a sudden wave of missing my grandmother. When I was a child, she used to prepare wild flower baths for me. She would place a massive wooden tub right in the middle of the main hall. Since it was just the two of us at night, the amber-brown interior of our old family home complemented the color of the wooden tub perfectly. The tub would be filled with warm water, with flowers floating on the surface. If I keep this memory locked away solely in my heart, its impact on the world would probably be minuscule. But if I turn it into a painting, recreate it as a movie scene, or capture it in words, then the love and warmth my grandmother gave me can be passed on to so many more people. It serves as a reminder of the love my family once showered upon me, inspiring me to pass that love down to the next generation. Perhaps, given the chance, it could make this world just a little bit more beautiful.

It is worth noting that winning a golden trophy in one's respective industry is, in my eyes, equally a form of creation—because it creates history. Just like Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modrić did.
